IAMO offers a limited number of travel/accommodation grants (depending on availability of funds) to participants with accepted extended abstracts. Grant distribution is based on the quality of the submission and the financial need of the applicant. Priority will be given to young scholars from transitional East European and Central Asian countries.

To apply for a grant, please send a motivation letter (max. 400 words) and a CV to forum2018(at)iamo.deby March 4, 2018. The letter of motivation should explain a.) your academic achievements, b.) the situation of your financial needs and c.) your professional motivation to participate in the Forum 2018.

Grant decisions will be communicated via email by March 23, 2018.
